China will launch Yaogan-IX

China will launch a remote-sensing satellite, YG-9 (YaoGan Weixing-9) in the coming days from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern Gansu Province, an official at the center said today. The satellite would be sent into space aboard a Long March 4C carrier rocket, the official said, without specifying the exact date. Currently, the satellite and rocket are in good condition, according to the official.
