Unfortunately, QBEE is one of the sad #QB50 projects.

Nobody, absolutely nobody has tried to contact the radio amateur community since launch. There is no official website, no information and of course no thanks for all the telemetry collected in 22 months. At least the beacon code is published on Github – but that’s all.

QBEE was developed by Lulea University of Technology (Sweden) and Open Cosmos – a start-up from ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) in Harwell, UK.
Unfortunately, these experiences with commercial ESA projects are increasing. And evil tongues asking again – why amateur radio frequencies?
