More interesting beacons from Compass on the latest pass. Heard it just on AOS and missed the first 8 values but then OK. Battery voltage up to 3.33v.
Then commands accepted and again battery voltage improved, once the heater was turned off, to 3.47v. Perhaps there is still hope of recovery.

A good strong beacon from Compass this morning. I received this before I sent the commands so the battery heater was already off.
All commands accepted after the beacon. All commands accepted also last night in eclipse. (1007UT pass.)

To paraphrase Mark Twain, the reports of Compass’ death have been greatly exaggerated. Compass responded to commands sent about halfway through the pass. I copied a partial beacon. Bob, W1ICW

COMPASS just flew over Hawaii. More than 8 minutes passed after the beacon and I had good line of sight but no further beacons heard. Data follows:
