UNITEC-1 launch canceled

21:42 UTC launch was canceled due bad weather conditions

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) decided on the delay six minutes before the scheduled launch of the H-IIA rocket, set for 21:44 UTC, as the weather at the Tanegashima space centre in southern Japan worsened.
“There is a risk of thunderstorms” a JAXA official said. The launch would take place on Friday at the earliest.

The new launch date of H-IIA F17 is set on May 20, 2010 at 21:58:22 UTC.
