The NOAA-19 MHS entered Fault Mode on April 23 at 14:25 UTC
NOAA and EUMETSAT Engineers have determined that the cause of the MHS entering Fault Mode is due an aburpt increase in the Reflector Drive Motor (RDM) and Flywheel Drive Motor (FDM) currents.
The event occurred over the South Atlantic Anomaly region. This anomaly has been seen in both METOP-A and NOAA-18.
