The NOAA-17 AVHRR Scan Motor has been rotating with increased resistance since September 28. As a result, the AVHRR / APT product data is completely
unusable. The Scan Motor current configuration has been kept on and the motor temperature has been monitored. There is no plan for this anomaly.
