Well, a typical fading pass today. For more than a minute Compass faded below the MixW decode level of around 25 on the signal level scale.
Just after TCA the signal level then came up solid. I have noticed this before. The fading occurs early in the pass and the signal level improves as Compass passes to the South. The first beacon is around S9 and even the second beacon which starts at about 2 deg. Is still S5 so the signal levels after TCA are consistently strong.
