UHF antenna is not attached. ARISSat-1 has been returned to the airlock.
At this time, if the satellite were to be released with the missing UHF antenna, the satellite would transmit the telemetry, CW beacon and voice messages on the VHF antenna but would make the linear transponder very difficult to use.
If the satellite were not to be released as planned today then the next available EVA would not be until February 2012.
Hey, I was watching the live video and found it strange to have only one antenna, I thought maybe it is a new type of dual band antenna :) :). Almost ran out the transponder and sstv in UHF.
